SLED Security Weapons Training

SLED Security Weapons Training

To be an “Armed” SLED Certified Security Officer in South Carolina, you must have had the “Primary Basic” class 1st. The “Armed” portion falls under the “Primary Plus” class.

….

Option 1. If you have had the Primary Basic class, then you can upgrade your SLED card to Armed with the 4 hours of training. $110.00 if you bring your own weapon and bullets. Includes range fees.

Option 2. If you are taking “Primary Basic” and “Primary Plus” together, then you can take the Armed portion that same day in the 8 hours of training. $135.00 if you bring your own weapon and bullets. Includes range fees.

If you do not have a weapon?

Important: Whether it is option 1 or 2. SLED regulations read that you must qualify with the weapon you will be carrying. So, you must have a weapon at class or know the type of weapon you will be carrying so you can rent that type at the shooting range. Add another $20.00 for rental of weapon and bullets.

….

If you have not taken any of the classes (Primary Basic or Plus) then you must start from fresh. Click here.

Either way, we can do it all for you. In fact, a 2 day class can train you in everything you need, Primary Basic, Primary Plus, Taser and OC Pepper Spray. This will make you the most marketable security officer around.
